Provided by AGPIn a statement published on the social media platform X, Israeli army spokesperson Avichay Adraee called on civilians in multiple towns—including Ghandoorieh, Borj Qalaouiyeh, Qalaouiyeh, Sawaneh, Jmeijmeh, Safad al-Battikh, Braachit, Shaqra, Aita al-Jabal, Tebnine, Sultaniyeh, Bir al-Sanasil, Dounine, Kherbet Selem, Selaa, and Deir Kifa—to leave immediately and move northward.
The warning was issued, according to the statement, in response to what Israel described as “violations of the ceasefire by Hezbollah.”
Adraee stated that “The army does not intend to harm you,” while urging residents to evacuate their homes without delay and relocate toward the Sidon region for safety. He also cautioned that individuals near Hezbollah members, infrastructure, or military equipment could be placed at risk.
Despite the ceasefire arrangement, Israel has continued conducting strikes in Lebanon, with repeated accusations of violations on both sides.
According to reports, US President Donald Trump said last week that he had attempted to discourage Israel from carrying out airstrikes on Lebanese territory as tensions continued to rise in the region.
